This new coastal highway will be known as "La Ruta del Sol". The coastal highway will run directly along the coast through Nosara and connect to the road leading to Nosara Vista Grande. The project is slated to begin in 2007 and upon completion will shorten the drive to Liberia International Airport to less than 90 minutes.
