La Reserva is located along the Pacific Northwest Coast of Costa Rica. It is in the Samara Region within the Nicoya Peninsula. From San Jose International Airport it is approximately a 4-hour drive via the new Tempisque Bridge. Your travel is on paved roads from San Jose directly to Samara. La Reserva is just 10 minutes off the public paved road.
La Reserva is also located just twenty minutes from two different commuter airstrips, serviced by daily flights from San Jose, Costa Rica. With the scheduled Government road construction plan being executed over the next two years, this will dramatically improve vehicular travel to your new paradise. With the two hundred meter maritime zone, owned by the Government of Costa Rica, there is no possibility that future concessions will be given for development in this beachfront zone.
This community is a few miles south of Playa Carrillo that is one of the most beautiful, safe swimming beaches in Guanacaste. Carrillo is home to a large sport fishing fleet that is among the very best in Costa Rica.
