Nosara Hills is located on the mountain above the village of Nosara on the Nicoya Peninsula of the Guanacaste Province, on the Pacific Northwest coast of Costa Rica. This beautiful private community overlooks miles and miles of the Pacific Ocean.
It is approximately a 2 hour drive from the Daniel Oduber International Airport located in Liberia to Nosara Hills. The trip is a very scenic drive over very good paved roads except for the last 17 miles. The last 17 miles is scheduled to be paved end of 2007. The access is through the city of Nicoya.
The Daniel Oduber Airport is serviced by American Airlines from Miami, Delta Air from Atlanta, Continental from Houston, Northwest from Minneapolis, America West from Phoenix and Condo Air from Europe.
An alternative is to enter Costa Rica at the San Jose International Airport. The drive from San Jose is approximately 4 ½ hours.
Nosario has a small airport with daily flights to San Jose airport serviced by Nature Air and Sansa Airline for those not wanting to drive. There is also bus service to Nosara from Liberia and San Jose.
Great surfing and swimming beaches are located within 15 to 20 minutes of Nosara Hills as well as the shopping area of Nosara and the various restaurants in the Nosara Beaches area.
